From a beginner: gnu high carbon + burton freestyle bindings + 32 prion boots
#1
shown here: http://www.snowboarding2.com/forum/showt...php?t=3927

went to mountain high last weekend... it was my 2nd trip snowboarding. my 1st time i had a painful experience, and the rental didn't help much...

the board was great... easy for me to control, although i still dont know how to slow down using my toes... someone even commented at mtn high that i had a nice board Smile

i wish my bindings were aluminum but that was all they had at my local shop and for $50, i'm not gonna complain...

prion boots were way better than the rentals i had, light, but still not as comfy as tennis shoes.

overall a great setup for a beginner like me for a tad under $300.
