Posted on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 by "Spain - Jasey-Jay Anderson of Mont-Tremblant, Que., registered a season-best sixth-place finish Sunday in a men's parallel slalom race at a World Cup snowboard competition. Rok Flander of Slovakia finished first while Austrians Benjamin Karl and Andreas Prommeger told the silver and bronze medals. Anderson said the icy conditions on the La Molina course made racing difficult. "It wasn't a pleasant race," said Anderson. "In fact it was awful. "I knew it would be tough, but not this tough." Still Anderson was pleased to post a season-best result. "It was my best result this season, I have to accept it and be happy with it," said Anderson, 32.
