Burton Supermodel X a good choice?

Hi,

I found a demo board of the Burton Supermodel X for a good price. Is that
a good board for carving and other all-mountain use?

I don't have the X, but I do ride a Supermodel. It's a good all mountain board, but it doesn't excel at carving due to the soft nose. You can carve on it, but that's not the board's strong point. It does kick arse off-piste and in the powder. The edges release nicely. The X may be a better carver because it's stiffer.
